What is a PIN and PUK?

A PIN (Personal Identification Number) is a security code that stops your SIM card from being used without your permission.

A PUK (PIN Unblocking Key) It is a number used to unblock your SIM when you have entered the wrong PIN three times.

The PIN and PUK codes can be found on the Vodacom certificate issued to you when purchasing your starterpack.

The PIN2 (Personal Identification Number) is the same as the original PIN on your Vodacom certificate.
