Day-Night Double Promotion

Terms and Conditions

1. The Day-Night Double Promotion (the “promotion”) will run from midnight on 2 August 2012 and end at midnight on 31 August 2012, but may be extended or curtailed in Vodacom’s sole and absolute discretion.

2. The promotion is open to all Vodacom Prepaid customers (excluding Top Up).

3. To qualify for the promotion, you first have to opt-in via *111#. There is no charge to opt-in, and you only need to do this once for the duration of the promotion.

4. By recharging with R29 or more during the promotion you will be entitled to an additional 60 minutes worth of voice airtime (measured on a per second basis) per day, on calls you make to Vodacom cellphone numbers until midnight on the day you recharged, subject to these terms conditions and the exclusions listed below.

5. Customers qualifying for the 60 minute promotional bundle also qualify for the Night Shift recharge promotion. This allows customers another 60 minute bundle, Vodacom to Vodacom calls only, to use between midnight and 5am for the next 7 days. See Night Shift T&C’s

6. The qualifying recharge must be a minimum of R29 and cannot be made up of cumulative recharges to the value of R29.

7. Recharges that do not qualify

     • Big Bonus Voucher

     • Prepaid passport Voucher

     • R49 SMS voucher

     • Starter Pack pre-loaded airtime

     • R5, R10 and R12 vouchers

     • All Airtime transfer transactions and Airtime Advances

     • Purchase of Prepaid SMS and Data bundles

8. Day and Night promotional bundle calls will be counted on a per second basis. 

9. Once you have used up the 60 minutes of airtime from the Day and Night Double promotional bundle, you will begin paying again for voice calls you make to Vodacom cellphone numbers at your current applicable tariff. 

10. All unused minutes from the Day and Night Double promotional bundle will expire at midnight on the day of the qualifying recharge. No carry-over of un-used minutes will be permitted.

11. Any calls and/or services which fall into the list of exclusions below will be billed at your current applicable tariff.

12. You can check how many promotional bundle minutes you have available at any time, by dialling *111#

13. EXCLUSIONS - The Day and Night Double promotional bundle minutes may not be used in respect of any of the following calls and/or services:

     • Contract customers and Community Services Sims

     • Off- Net calls (i.e. any voice and/or video calls made to non-Vodacom numbers)

     • Roaming Calls

     • International calls

     • Premium rated calls

     • Video Calls

     • Conference Calls

     • Call sponsor

     • Through Connect (off  net)

     • VAS calls

     • Reverse Charge

     • SMS, MMS, Data, SVS and BlackBerry (BIS) bundle purchases

     • General Service calls

     • Directory Enquiry calls

     • Reconnect

     • Message forwarding

     • Fax Outdial

     • Call forwarding

14. Vodacom may amend these terms and conditions at any time during the promotion and such amendment will take effect when Vodacom posts the amended terms and conditions on its website.
